Terms of Service

1. Who we are

LinkSweep is a website health monitoring service operated by LEAD OÜ, registered at Sõle tn 14/1, Põhja-Tallinna linnaosa, 10611 Tallinn, Harju maakond, Estonia (registry code 12353465, VAT ID EE101575780). Questions: support@linksweep.eu.

2. The service

LinkSweep crawls websites you add to your account and reports findings such as broken links, SEO issues, slow pages, and outdated content. Features available depend on your plan (Free, Pro, Business, Enterprise).

3. Your account

  • You must provide accurate email and business information.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
  • You may not share accounts or resell access.
  • You must be at least 18 years old or authorized to use the service on behalf of a business.

4. Acceptable use

You may only add websites you own or have explicit permission to scan. You must not use LinkSweep to:

  • Crawl sites you don't own or control without permission
  • Bypass rate limits or automation protections
  • Perform penetration testing or security attacks
  • Send spam, malware, or other unlawful content

We respect robots.txt and crawl-delay directives. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms without refund.

5. Billing

  • Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, via Stripe.
  • Prices are in EUR and exclude VAT where applicable. VAT is added at checkout based on your billing country.
  • You can cancel any time from your billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial periods.
  • Failed payments: we'll retry for up to 7 days. Accounts may be suspended after repeated failures.
  • Annual plans save the equivalent of two months vs. monthly billing.

6. Refunds

Under EU distance selling law, consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal on digital services — unless the service has been used. Since scans begin immediately after signup, running a scan waives this right. Business customers are not eligible for withdrawal.

We offer refunds at our discretion for technical issues that prevent you from using the service. Email support@linksweep.eu within 14 days.

7. Service availability

We aim for 99% monthly uptime. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance. Business/Enterprise customers may have separate SLA agreements.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of any data you add to LinkSweep (site URLs, configurations, exports). You grant us a limited license to crawl and analyze your sites solely to provide the service.

9. Limitation of liability

LinkSweep is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (lost revenue, data loss, etc.).

Scan findings are automated and may contain false positives or miss issues. Use your judgment before acting on any report.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms, with reasonable notice for non-severe cases.

11. Changes to terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Estonian law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of Estonian courts, except where consumer protection law mandates otherwise.
