Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-01-01
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, improve performance, and provide information to site owners.
2. How we use cookies
LinkSweep uses only essential cookies. We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies. We do not share data with third-party advertisers.
3. Cookies we set
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
access_token |
Keeps you logged in to your account | 30 minutes (refreshes on activity) | Essential |
refresh_token |
Issues new access tokens so you don't have to log in repeatedly | 7 days | Essential |
Both cookies are set only after you log in. They are not used to track you across the web.
4. Third-party cookies
When you complete a payment, you are redirected to Stripe. Stripe sets its own cookies on stripe.com to process your payment securely. We do not control these — please see Stripe's cookie policy.
No other third-party cookies are set on our site.
5. Why we don't show a cookie banner
EU law (ePrivacy Directive) requires a consent banner only for non-essential cookies. Since we use only strictly necessary cookies for authentication, no banner is required.
6. How to control cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block our essential cookies, you will not be able to log in or use the dashboard.
7. Changes to this policy
If we ever add new cookies (analytics, etc.), we will update this page and require explicit consent from EU/EEA users via a banner before setting them.
