1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, improve performance, and provide information to site owners.
2. How we use cookies
LinkSweep sets essential cookies that are always needed to run the site, and analytics cookies that are set only if you give consent. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we do not share your data with advertisers.

The access_token and refresh_token cookies are set only after you log in; the lang cookie is set when you choose a language or visit an Estonian page. The analytics cookies are set only after you accept them in the consent banner, and are cleared if you decline.
4. Third-party cookies
When you complete a payment, you are redirected to Stripe. Stripe sets its own cookies on stripe.com to process your payment securely. We do not control these — please see Stripe's cookie policy.
If you accept analytics cookies, we use PostHog (hosted in the EU) to measure how the site is used. PostHog acts as our data processor and does not use your data for advertising — see PostHog's privacy policy. No other third-party cookies are set on our site.
5. Consent and the cookie banner
EU law (ePrivacy Directive) requires your consent before we set non-essential cookies. On your first visit we show a banner asking whether to allow analytics cookies — nothing loads until you choose:
- Accept — analytics cookies are set and PostHog begins measuring usage.
- Decline — no analytics cookies are set and no tracker loads. The site works exactly the same.
You can change your choice at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer. Essential cookies do not require consent and cannot be switched off.
6. How to control cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block our essential cookies, you will not be able to log in or use the dashboard.
7. Changes to this policy
We update this page whenever our cookie use changes. If we introduce new non-essential cookies, we will describe them here and ask for your consent before setting them.
